    Farmer from Blue Heron Farm

    Who am I?

Rachel Kulchin is founder and owner of Blue Heron Farm, a 10-acre regenerative farm in the high desert of California’s Eastern Sierra. With a background in agroecology and years of hands-on farming experience, her work centers on building soil health, strengthening local food systems, and reconnecting people to where their food comes from.

Blue Heron Farm grows fruit and vegetables for the local community through its CSA, farm stand, and wholesale partnerships. More than a farm, it is a place for learning, gathering, and rebuilding a resilient, place-based food system.
